The Archers, Coronation Street, The Mousetrap, Chichester Hash. These are all noted for their ability to entertain over the years.
So our hash has reached a majestic 800 runs.

We donned our new vestments and waited and waited for those puppies who assumed The Spur Pub, our lunch venue, was the start.
A tad late, the hares assumed command and decided to repeal Tom's hashit award and give it to Godiva and Hubby for going straight to the pub without doing the last run.
Welcome back to Cream Puff (Patsy) newly resident in Donnington, Joyce (Two Ferrets Fighting) and Laura.

And so off we went, the bulk of the pack heading north west into Slindon Woods while Spiderman chose the South east.
After faffing about for 5 minutes the true trail was found north to the village and then round to Mill Lane.
The whole pack disappeared up the Mill Lane track including Ginger Glove Puppet returning from Baycombe Lane.
Spiderman found the trail, up Baycombe Lane strangely, and into Baycombe Woods and then TTF took us up to the Little Down signpost where we stopped for a group photo.

From here all routes were false apart from the unlikely direction north up to Bignor Hill.
If one stayed behind you may have seen Pancsi kick out a falsie.
The pack returned and we headed past Downe's Barn to the village and then down Top Road,
back into Slindon Woods to Newburgh's Repose, a rest stop where we have had group photos over the years - take a look at the web site photo album for a laugh.

Another sneaky trick from the hares found the pack doubling back to the village past the college and a final check at the memorial.
The village was chocka with the lure of the pumpkin. Early comers had time to visit the pumpkin display at the pottery before we headed back to the chariots.

We had been warned that the meal might take a while to arrive as they had booked another big group but in the end the 33 of us had good service and food.
Snake Charmer with military precision ensured that we all got what we ordered - very well done for that and the efficient organisation.
Thanks to The Ref for some new very smart HHH signs.
Hashit candidates were Laura for asking the way, Kinky for over-running falsies but it went to Spiderman who, being unable to scale a one foot hill, fell back in the mud along with Pink Flamingo's new 800 T-shirt.

Tigger made a short speech thanking all particularly those who have ensured the hash has happily prevailed (since 1983).

A good day.

Spiderman.
