The 3 Stooges (aka Pancsi, Splasher and Snake Charmer) were in charge of this last hash of 2021. That may have been the reason that so many people dropped out, but they won't take it personally.
1045am - 3 hares and a dog.
1050am - 3 hares, a dog, a Spiderman and a Spiderwoman
1055am - a moody Snake Charmer muttering about it being cold, pointless and to just call the whole thing off.
However, Splasher was full of Christmas spirit (rum we think) and was bouncing about like a cat on a hot tin roof on the account of prizes up for grabs.
At the appointed hour, the quality rather than quantity hashers gathered and admired the costumes of Popeye (an elf) and Olive Oyl (a Mary Christmas). Splasher explained the rules regarding the potential of a ribbon on a falsie - and we all know what ribbons mean......

So off clattered Substandard/VanMan/Hardcore (depending on what he decided he wanted to be called that day), Dr Blood, Spiders, Can Man and Elf and Santa. My geography is not great so we basically went round a few houses and then crossed the main road to the fields behind the rife. Here we saw the first fight of the day for a ribbon with Dr Blood being victorious. A check with trails going off in all directions resulted in the pack choosing all the wrong ones.
Onwards through some more houses and we chanced upon Dag's (remember her) street so laid a falsie outside her door which she has framed (the falsie and the door). Up toward the main Chichester Road saw exclamations on the amount of dog mess and rubbish littering the streets but we're hardy, we waded through.
Through the underpass into Hotham Park saw more fighting at falsies with Spiderwoman and Dr Blood fending off others with elbows and a left jab. Out the park and a little detour for Olive Oyl to sprint finish to her ribbon, saw us head out onto the prom and into the "refreshing" sea air.
A little short cut due to time past the tennis courts by the Lobster Pot and into the village to be greeted by the heavenly sight of Hairbrush next to his newly washed and gleaming chariot. No beer there so we headed off to find the On Inn just after 1205 past the Thatched House and through the church yard.

A circle gathered to get prizes, try to decipher whether we can or cannot call Substandard Substandard (he says we can) and greet Tigger with her dripping horn. Hashit nomination for Spiderwoman for mentioning a sweet wrapper was on but awarded to Substandard for signing check when he was on a false.
